What does it mean to say "Ein lanu al mi lihei'sha'ein ela avinu shebashamayim"? Does that mean we're desperate, in horrible straights, and sadly have nowhere to turn except to G-d? Or does it mean that we have G-d in His full strength behind us, and we now understand that completely?
When at a tight juncture, my reaction is to look up and say "Hashem, You're all I have left. I better remember to depend on You."
This morning I caught myself and wondered - is Hashem all I have left, or everything I have?
