A Child of G-d

Carl Jung once treated a young Jewish women who's father had strayed from the Torah lifestyle, who presented with pervasive dissatisfaction with her life. Jung felt that he understood wherein lay her dilemma. To quote "She knew only the intellect and lived a meaningless life. In reality she was a child of God whose destiny was to fulfill His secret will. I had to awaken mythological and religious ideas in her, for she belonged to the class of human beings of whom spiritual activity is demanded."
What a wonderful non-Jewish therapist!
And what a reminder for us all to live up to the mantle of a people "of whom spiritual activity is demanded."
